WAS EVE EVIL? THE CRACK AND THE FOLD

It seems that growing old implies learning to strain perception and emotion through de notions of right and wrong. It´s wrong to expect. It hurts you. Expectations crack relationships. And many times a certain feeling, even love, is wrong or incorrect... based not on senses, but in complex mind work.
Many people are afraid of bonding, and philosophy and religion have gone great lengths demonstrating the dont's of attachment. It seems it's proper to attach to a house but not to someone's arms, to a job, but not to your lover's smile. To a lifestyle but not to a life companion. Liberty is the monstruos monument of unalterable material so many of us look up to, but haven't had the chance to look in from. Maybe if we did, we wouldn't find it so desireable. Such happens in human experience: desire is elusive. Desire wishes for an object, but is wind and bounces against it, and moves on with greater power. Eve was the first to find this out: she had it all, but wanted more. She wanted to know, because she wanted to understand. You don't need to understand everything Eve...

Emotions and thought are a fold, the particular manner in which the world folds inside our bodies. Experience, feelings, perception are folds within folds of personality and social context, other folds of the world. Silken folds within which we sleep and roll along, comfortable, assured, numb. And in this rolling through time and being, sometimes we find ourselves before a crack. Jealousy, fear, wrath... when our loved one doesn´t behave as expected... when the harvest doesn't match the seed... seems like such a waste of magic! Eve, like each woman, was a being full of magic, she could even talk to animals! She was totally connected to the world through her senses, completely developed, accurate... this is innocence. Sensual and erotic... that is innocence too. And the road of experience, of living in innocence, got her, like each one of us, to the tree of knowledge, the crack of good and evil, the deepest fold, most unconnected with the world of the senses, a crack before each woman stands sooner or later. Dangerous cracks with wich we must learn to live, or learn to fly.
